Danny Mangan and his wife of Knowsley near Liverpool were completely stuck about what to buy their daughter for her 21st birthday. Danielle is a stewardess for the holiday airline Air 2000 and her parents finally came up with the idea of buying her a personalised number plate – DAN 649V (“something she could keep for life”).

Danielle is, according to her father, “absolutely elated” with the UK registration plates and her Vauxhall Corsa is fast becoming the most famous car at Manchester airport.
